Striking Distance Studios, the developer in charge of The Callisto Protocolthe new space survival horror from the creator of dead space which will go on sale on December 2, has shared in recent days the minimum requirements of the title to work correctly on computers and the contents of the battle pass, including dozens of new death animations. This last decision was criticized by not a few players because it it was thought that the studio was cutting content from the game to sell it alongside the season passalthough Glen A. Schofield, director of the project, has denied it in a recent statement.
“To be clear: we are not saving anything from the main game for the season passSchofield commented in a tweet. “We haven’t even started working on this content yet. It’s all new material that we’ll be working on in the new year. The fans have been asking for AN MORE deaths, so we are making it a priority for next year“, he concludes. It is clear, therefore, that the team will work on the new death animations at the request of the fans and that, therefore, they were never intended to be included in the base game.
One of the most promising games of the year
“Almost four months after The Callisto Protocol hits stores in Spain and the rest of the world on December 2, it is true that the aroma it gives off is that of being a substitute for dead space, which is not a problem because part of the development team worked on that title and because the Visceral Games formula is missing”, we told you in our first video game impressions
