A group of assailants sowed terror on the Vía Libertadores, where they robbed passengers from two buses and merchandise from cargo trucks, taking advantage of the agrarian strike that is observed in a large part of the southern and central regions of the country.

The events occurred in the Rumichaca sector, border between the Huancavelica and Ayacucho regions. Precisely, these units travel to the City of Churches, being surprised by the criminals. The passengers denounced that most of the assailants looked like farmers and were traveling in vehicles such as trucks and cars.

The assault occurred at approximately 8:00 p.m. and, given the refusal of the drivers to open the truck doors, the criminals threw stones and destroyed the windshields.

In the same way, they stoned the buses and burst their tires with knives and after boarding the units, they took money, cell phones and everything they found. After that, the buses were stranded in said town full of passengers between men, women and kids.

Those affected indicated that police officers were never present and the assailants, who most resembled farmers, escaped from the place aboard trucks and cars heading towards Licapa and Lircay in Huancavelica.

What is reprehensible about the fact is that these subjects released various rude words and more than one child ended up crying and scared at this moment.
