The Municipality of Salta will launch the first edition of the “Montate” ride, in the month of LGBTIQ+ pride.
The purpose of the proposal is to create a space for meeting, respect, and fellowship in diversity, promoting the use of sustainable means of transportation.
The meeting will be on Thursday 24, at 9:00 p.m., at Avda. del Bicentenario at 700 (in front of Alto NOA Shopping).
The route will include the following streets: Aniceto Latorre – Deán Funes – Belgrano – Avda del Bicentenario – Spain – Deán Funes/Córdoba – Alvarado – Buenos Aires/Zuviría – Spain – Miter – Caseros – Buenos Aires – Spain – Balcarce – Paseo Ameghino.
The activity is in charge of the “Salta en bici” and Diversidades programs of the Undersecretary for Content, Citizen Participation and Strategic Affairs.
About “Jump on a bike”
It is a program created through the regulation of Ordinance No. 15,169, and its objective is to promote the use of sustainable means of transport, to monitor the execution and maintenance of works and actions, together with the government areas involved.
This program also seeks to develop education and road safety strategies focused on the different actors in urban mobility. Also promote economic and commercial development linked to the use of bicycles and fiscal promotion strategies.
